With over 14 years of sweet success, Buttercup continues to build a loyal following with our most recent pastry chef, Kareem Elgohary, who, since 2014, has dramatically increased our selection of puddings, custom cakes, bars, cookies, and other fresh and exciting confections.
With chef Elgohary, Buttercup has revitalized an already winning recipe that's charming the hearts and tastes of New Yorkers. It's all about how they do it. Their philosophy of wholesome ingredients—organic butter, the finest local products—and belief in traditional baking techniques (with our own twists)—like working by hand—are what gives our baked goods fresh and dynamic flavors.
