What information do we collect?
We collect the following from your use of our service:

• The location of your device when you use our service from your device.
• How you use our service, this may include your access times, browser information and IP addresses.
• Information voluntarily provided by the user, this may include reviews, delivery instructions, special dates and any other actions performed on the service.
Why do we collect your information?
We may use your information in any of the following ways:
• To give you a customized experience (we can respond to what your needs are).
• To improve our website (we want to be the best and so we have to improve our website based on your needs and any feedback we have from you).
• To process transactions. Your information will include billing address, telephone number, a valid email address, your credit card information and a password to access the Sweetist site.
• To send you information about our company, products, services and related products and services.
You may unsubscribe to our mailing lists at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” instructions at the bottom of any of our emails.
• In order to give you the best possible service as well as improving our product and our service we may share your information with our partners and service providers to ensure the service orders are fulfilled, communication is at its best and communication between users and merchants are at their best.
Sharing of Information
Sweetist will not sell or disclose your name, email address, phone numbers or any other personal information to third parties without your explicit consent, except as specified in this policy.
Credit card information on an account may be stored and used for billing purposes.
Sweetist automatically receives and records some information from your browser when you visit our site, such as your IP address, cookies and data about which pages you visit on the site through the use of log files by our third party tracking-utility partners.
This information helps us analyze and understand how the site works for customers and visitors; this is to provide you with a more personal experience when visiting our website.
Sweetist’s “Terms of Service” require all account owners to be over 18 years or age, therefore this site does not discuss the use of this site by minors
Your personal information is of utmost importance to us. Credit card information is encrypted and your information exists on a secure server that only selected personnel have access to. It is important that you do not share your password with anyone.
Terms of Service
Welcome to Sweetist! We are happy you are reading this as it means you want us to satisfy your sweet tooth! Before you use our site, please read the Terms of Service.
In this Agreement, “Sweetist”, “we”, “us”, and “our” shall mean Sweetist LLC.
By accessing and using this site the consumer, “you”, agree to the Terms of Service (TOS) of our site. If you do not agree to the TOS you will stop using the site, mobile apps and other online areas owned and operated by Sweetist. We may notify you of changes to the TOS at any time. You will however be able to find the latest version of the TOS on our website. We recommend you review these on a regular basis. If you do not agree to our TOS, we recommend you do not use our service.
1. Sweetist’s Services
Sweetist provides marketing for bakeries in your city and procures ordering and delivering on your behalf.
Sweetist is not the retailer of any of the products you purchase via the Sweetist website. Sweetist’s responsibility is limited to the delivery of the products sold on our website for you.
The bakeries are solely responsible for preparing and packaging all products ordered via Sweetist.co, updating their menu and menu prices. The bakeries and outlets featured on the Sweetist website are solely liable for the quality and the freshness of their products. Sweetist.co does not guarantee the quality of the product.
Sweetist will not take responsibility of a bakery changing their prices, content or availability; these may change without notice. Periodically the prices of a bakery’s products may change without notice. Sweetist reserves the right to charge your credit card the correct price according to the bakery.
Once you complete the checkout process, your order is immediately sent to the bakery. Please keep in mind the lead up time is the bakeries’ best estimate, and that deliveries could arrive a little earlier than expected. Equally there are times when the bakery is extremely busy and if the weather is unexpectedly bad that the order may take a little longer. That said, you can rest assured that as soon as your order have been accepted by the bakery and you receive a confirmation email, the bakery is working hard to prepare your order.
Sweetist shall not be liable or responsible for any of the products or services by a bakery that do not meet your expectations in any manner.
2. Sweetist Member Account
By creating an account with Sweetist, you agree that you are over 18 years of age.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the delivery address. Sweetist shall have no responsibility or liability for any incorrect addresses.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. Sweetist will not be responsible for third party access to your account that results from theft or third party misuse of your account. You are responsible for all activities that take place on your account and password.
You agree to pay by credit card for all orders through Sweetist. No order will be reserved, picked-up or delivered without valid credit card details and payment being processed.
You agree that we may have access to your account and details and may disclose your information if legally required to do so by law.
You may terminate your account and stop using our service at any time. To terminate your account your will need to go to your account settings. At the time of your account termination, Sweetist agrees to delete all information and data stored as part of your account.
Should there be a dispute between a supplier and a consumer, Sweetist will assist with facilitating a resolution. Our customer service team will reason the dispute out with the parties involved.
Sweetist reserves the right to terminate your account and access to the site and related services without notice.
The availability of items ordered is each individual bakery’s responsibility.
4. Refund Policy
Refund and cancellation policies are set by our bakery partners and their stipulations are available on their respective pages. Our customer support team can work with you to determine if a refund is possible dependent on the bakery you are ordering from. Importantly, cancellations and refunds are not possible on the delivery date of your order.
If there are any damages to your order that occurred in transit, PRIOR to the item being received by you or your intended recipient, we may be able to reimburse you for the damaged contents of the order. Please contact email@example.com for help with this. To ensure you qualify for this reimbursement, it is recommended that you include images of the damaged items within one hour of receiving the items.
6. Missed Delivery
If you, or your intended recipient, is unavailable at your specified time of delivery, and the order cannot be left with anyone, you are still fully responsible for the order cost. There are no refunds or cancellations for orders on the day of your order's specified delivery date. Our bakery partners unfortunately do not accept any food back after it has left their premises. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.
We do offer fee-based re-delivery services for missed orders so you can reroute your order to another location. The fee amount depends on the delivery time needed and location of the newly provided delivery address. The re-delivery MUST occur on the same day. We do our absolute best to keep these fees as low as possible and make sure your orders do not go to waste. However, it is possible that a re-delivery is not possible due to the lack of availability of delivery staff or a delivery location outside of our normal delivery area. For this reason, we, Sweetist, reserve the right to decline to offer re-delivery services. At that point, you are still fully responsible for the order cost.
Note: It bears mentioning that doormen and reception staff will frequently NOT accept / hold food items as they're perishable.
